The house of Lalla Amira

A restaurant, a café and a cooking school under one roof, in the heart of the Marrakech medina.

The spirit

A table, a café, a school.

Moroccan cooking is passed on by doing it.

At Lalla Amira, the restaurant and the cooking school share the same kitchen: that is where the cooking classes take place, and where the dishes served in the dining room come from. Come for a coffee, stay for a tagine, come back to learn how to make it.

Lalla Amira is the spirit of a Moroccan home: you are welcomed as a guest, you eat as a family, and you leave with a little of Morocco in your hands.

Passing it on

Our classes are not demonstrations, they are cooked: everyone leaves knowing how to make what they tasted.
